Installation on Microsoft Windows

Start the installer executable and follow the messages of the installation wizard dialog. After the installation procedure is completed Ridom MLVA Compare can be run by clicking the desktop icon or selecting the entry in the Start Menu.

Ridom MLVA Compare will create a profile directory located in your home directory (e.g., a path like C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\mlvacompare on Windows XP or C:\Users\<username>\mlvacompare on Windows Vista/Windows 7 respectively) . This directory will contain the configuration and logging files.

Uninstalling Ridom MLVA Compare

Select the Uninstall Ridom MLVA Compare icon from the Start Menu and follow the instructions on the screen. When uninstalling the software, the application directory will be removed from your system. The configuration files in your home directory will not be deleted automatically.
