The software must be registered before it can be used. Without a serial number, the software will only run in demonstration mode that is limited to 10 Samples. Each serial number can be used to register the software on one computer.

Registration can be done using the start-menu item "Register Ridom MLVA Compare". Depending on the Windows version and access rights (activated User Account Control on modern versions of Windows), an Administrator user might have to do the registration.

During the registration process, your first name, last name, email and the serial number for Ridom MLVA Compare must be supplied. Additionally, an unique code for your computer is generated. This data is transferred via your web browser to the Ridom Registration server that creates a personalized unlock code for your computer.

If your web browser does not open automatically, copy the URL and paste it in your favourite browser.

Copy the unlock code from the website and paste it to the Unlock-Code textfield. After restarting the software, it can be used without any limits on the sample count.
