With SeqSphere version 9 we removed the option to submit epidemiological metadata to cgMLST.org, as this function was anyway only used by a minority of all users. If you are using a SeqSphere version older than version 9, the sample submission functions are still shown in the client. But when submitting samples they will now be always submitted in mode "Store only new CT founders as anonymized samples on cgMLST.org". So for samples that do not belong to an existing Complex Type (CT), the allelic profile of the new CT will be stored on cgMLST.org. No epi data or submitter data of the sample will be stored on cgMLST.org. For samples that belong to an existing CT nothing will be stored at all. On of the two result dialogs will be shown when submitting manually:
All submitted samples that were submitted before this change were removed from cgMLST.org. |
